If you have heard of body wraps that claim to actually burn fat and let you get thin without dieting and exercise you are not alone. Let's take a look at some of the claims being made and get to the truth about Body Wraps.

Can I Actually Burn Fat?
Do I Ever Need To Watch What I Eat Again?
Is Exercise Just A Bad Memory?
First of all, I must say that I love Body Wraps. I use them often and have had only great experiences. In fact, I enjoyed the experience so much that I set out to discover more Body Wrap formulas and recipes to use for myself. What I learned became an e-book "The Complete Home Body Wrap Guide". So, I have a little experience with Body Wraps to bring to the discussion.
I have seen claims made online for as much as 30 pounds lost with the latest and greatest Body Wrap formula. The claim is made that this formula actually burns fat from the outside. Now, I am not a Physician but if this were true and it worked for everyone it would be front page news. The Diet and Weight Loss industries are GIGANTIC with Billions of dollars spent annually by consumers in the quest for the perfect (read easy) diet or weight loss miracle. It seems as though every other commercial or info-mercial on television is for a weight loss or exercise program. These types of ads are very expensive, especially when celebrity endorsements are added to the cost of advertising. So, doesn't it stand to reason that a simple wrap that would help you lose 30 pounds would be all over the airwaves with celebrity endorsements flying at you thick and fast?
Just think of the advertising opportunity if this were a reality. Picture an ad on TV like this, a formerly-overweight celebrity sitting on the couch watching television while eating chips, ice cream and chocolates with a couple of cheeseburger wrappers and an empty fried chicken bucket in the background while wrapped up in some kind of "SOOPER-DOOPER MIRACLE WRAP". Sound absurd?
According to studies published by the US Food and Drug Administration, Body Wraps are not to be used for weight loss. No matter how much I love and enjoy body wraps, I would tend to follow their advice. People looking for a miracle weight loss system are usually disappointed. Worse, those desperate to try a Body Wrap weight loss program would tend to overdo it and have Body Wraps daily or even more often. This, according to the FDA could lead to severe dehydration. So, if you have a wedding or a reunion coming up in the near future a crash diet is probably not going to give you the desired results.
Most of us that enjoy Body Wraps often use them just prior to an event (wedding, reunion, etc.) to slim down a bit and make the cellulite less noticeable. When combined with skin conditioning ingredients such as herbs, clays, minerals and moisturizers we can look our best for the event.
Sorry to be the bearer of disappointing news, but I just get sick and tired of seeing people chasing miracle diets only to be disappointed.
Again, according to the FDA, the way to lose weight are by maintaining a healthy diet while limiting caloric intake and exercising regularly. Sad, but true.
So, enjoy your Body Wraps. Take care of your body and, above all, take time to pamper yourself.
